The Pickleball Federation of the Americas (PFA) today announced it will host the first sanctioned continental pickleball tournament, The Americas Championship (TAC), from November 26 – December 2, 2023.
The PFA was established to serve as the first continental pickleball federation in the Americas for the purpose of promoting the development and growth of pickleball throughout North America, Central America, the Caribbean and South America. Liga Pro de Pickleball Mexico, the National Governing Body of pickleball for Mexico, and the Pickleball Federation of the Americas, are hosting the event under the direction of President Javier Regalado.
“Los Cabos has acquired a reputation as a beautiful destination with vast culinary offerings, cultural experiences, ocean activities, and luxurious lodging,” Regalado said. “Our host committee believes this backdrop will elevate our first international pickleball tournament experience at the Solaz Arena in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico. TAC is also teaming up to give back to the Los Cabos Children’s Foundation and Save the Children, with pickleball clinics and a Diner en Blanc to benefit children in need.”
Registration for The Americas Championship is currently open on Pickleball Brackets through November 15, 2023. Discounts on preferred lodging at Hacienda del Mar Resort and Solaz Resort are available on the registration site.
