MLP today announced the pick order for Waiver Period 1, with Premier scheduled for Thursday, June 20, beginning at Noon ET, and Challenger scheduled for Friday, June 21, beginning at Noon ET, with picks being made every 15 minutes.
The full waiver order is determined using this process (from lowest to highest), to account for the difference in the number of matches played to this point in the season:
- Points per match
- First tiebreaker: Match win percentage
- Second tiebreaker: Games won percentage
Overview of players available to be selected on waivers:
- Players who were picked up as IR replacements for MLP Washington D.C. are available
- MLP contracted players not currently on a team
- Non-contracted players, but the player must have a signed League contract before they step foot on court

Premier Round 1: The Texas Ranchers acquired the #1 overall waiver selection from the Utah Black Diamonds in exchange for the #7 overall selection and cash considerations. Texas was the only team to make a waiver selection in Round 1.

After California and Chicago made their picks, Miami acquired Rd 1, Pick 3 from SoCal in exchange for Rd 1, Pick 5 and cash considerations.
SoCal again traded down from pick 5 to pick 9, with Bay Area moving up.
The Hard Eights made a third trade, moving up to pick 8 by trading the 3rd pick in Round 2 to Brooklyn.
